We were to late to get to the Middle East. It’s not looking good. The Hollow Men ravaged the area just to spite us. These were once their people too. How could they do this? Since finding the lab, we repaired their satellite towers and learned how to make some basic towers out in the field. This will allow us to quickly send info back and forth between teams. We’ve had radios for a while and they work great, but they didn’t really let us have direct communications between our different roaming teams. This will be a game changer!

The beginning of May was horrible. It felt like we just couldn’t catch a break. Capt Jack was able to discover a few pockets of survivors in Bogata. We tried to expand a lot this month. I think we spread ourselves a bit too thin. Torbolt and his team heard of some people that were in need of some help in Mexico City. We decided to make that their priority. After some searching they found who they were looking for and dropped off some much needed supplies.

Torbolt found himself in the middle of an outbreak. Half of his current team was lost in that mission. Torbolt himself has a few scratches but our medics assure us he and his remaining teammates are not carriers of the plague. We have taken a vote from the heads of the Havens and decided to put them back in the field. We had to get a few new people trained to take over the fallen’s positions so their first excursion will be next month. Hopefully the training we are putting them through will be enough to keep them alive.

Most of our cities are hanging on by a thread. I was working in the east around Istanbul when there was an outbreak. My team and I quickly evacuated to Cairo. We held up there and secured our position until help arrived.

I haven’t written much these past weeks. I’ve been out in the field with my team from Niflheim trying to get the supply lines back to an operational status. We are slowly making progress. The cold is hampering our efforts to move quickly.

If you’re reading this log, I hope I’m still alive, I’m Sammy and I’m a farmer aboard a Haven called Niflheim. Our leaders have been missing for some time now, and the other Haven’s are concerned as well. We found some records that are not conducive to our continued survival aboard the Havens. With the increased attacks from the Hollow Men we have lost communications with most of the outside world. The only Havens we are still in contact with are Valhalla and Asgard. Some friends and I are playing through Pandemic Legacy Season 2 and I’m going to try to do a “monthly” log as told from the characters perspective. We’ve made it though the first two months. I’ll work on posting the first log this weekend. More to come, fun times ahead!
